Maple Syrup season is at an end, sadly! FAF will be boiling our last batch this week.
This season has been plagued with weird & wild weather shifts that witnessed all of the snow melting off in a very short period, which didn’t shorten the season but it lessened normal production. We juggled some major equipment breakages, formulated a back up plan and executed to make sure we got the syrup made!
Now the next battle that seems to be on the horizon is shipping costs climbing due to oil prices spiking. We are going to maintain low shipping costs as long as possible but suggest stocking up now if you can manage.
I took most of the winter off from writing substack articles. This was to spend extra time with my wife, and our six children as we welcomed a new baby girl to the farm!
I know you all will understand.
My quiver is full. We are blessed beyond measure and thank Jesus for His provision daily.
